Enviros and KeystoneXL pipeline opponents are mad as tar that WRC-TV,a Washington, DC NBC affiliate declined to air its anti-Keystone ad that we told you about Tuesday. It was created by SF’s own Portal A and funded by SF’s own billionaire greenie Tom Steyer. The station received the ad Monday (usually they get ads 3-5 days before the air date) and told the sponsors Tuesday shortly before airtime that it wasn’t going to be on. At that point, there wasn’t enough time to make any changes before its very sexy potential air date — during President Obama’s “Tonight” show cuddlefest with Jay Leno Tuesday. So why didn’t it make the air?

I watched the ad. The rejection by NBC to show the ad was economical. They don't want to hurt the feelings of the White House. The are afraid of losing access to the administration.
